As a contemporary composer, Milos pushes boundaries, evident in his groundbreaking work “The Rite of Stick,” possibly the world’s first Concerto for Drums and Symphony Orchestra, composed between 2019 and 2020. Another notable piece is “Encore,” commissioned by the Belgrade Philharmonic Orchestra in 2021, completed in a remarkable timeframe of fewer than 48 hours.
In addition to his compositional prowess, Milos demonstrated his versatility by arranging and orchestrating the musical “Black Butterfly” (“Crni Leptir”), premiering at the Terazije Theater in October 2022, where he was honored with the Annual Award for Outstanding Contribution.
Milos had an honor to write a short Serbian Variation for Happy Birthday commissioned by the Belgrade Philharmonic orchestra 100th Anniversary concert in July 2023.
His work also includes compositions for solo, duo, choir, string and other orchestra settings such as big band, woodwind, brass and percussion ensembles etc.
His composition “Thassos” for drum set and percussion ensemble was premiered in March of 2026 at University of Oklahoma and his solo piece “Rose for Harp” will be premiered in July 2026 at World Harp Congress in Toronto, Canada.
